That's exactly what this review is for.
This is a structured one-off review of your bookkeeping file — focused on whether your accounts are set up correctly, reconciled properly and positioned for accurate reporting.
We look at things like:
The goal is to give you a clear picture of where things are in good shape and where there are gaps or issues that need attention.
Once the review is done you'll receive a clear summary of what we found, including:
If follow up work is needed we'll talk through what's involved and quote for it separately — so you're always in control of what happens next.
It's also a really useful first step before any cleanup or rescue work — because it helps identify exactly what needs attention and in what order.
This review covers your general bookkeeping and compliance position — it doesn't include a detailed payroll review. If your main concerns are around payroll setup, superannuation or how employees are being paid, the Payroll Review is the more suitable service for that.
To complete the review properly we'll need temporary access to your accounting software so we can look at your reconciliations, balances and how things are set up. No changes are made during the review and access can be removed as soon as we're done.
